Manjit Kaur, founder of Panjabi Virasat
Manjit Kaur

Our Founder

For 36 years, Manjit Kaur taught Panjabi language and devotional music in Ludhiana’s classrooms. Her father, Professor Gurdarshan Singh, spent his life serving a gurudwara in Canada — teaching Panjabi, yoga, and devotion to those far from home.

Panjabi Virasat carries that same calling forward: for every Panjabi who still longs for the sound of home.
